Built at the foot of an ancient volcano, between the sea and many natural spaces. The Hélios Hotel is ideally located in Cap d'Agde so that you can take full advantage of it. You will be very close to the beaches, the city center and the port. The sandy beaches of Mole and Richelieu are 25 minutes away on foot and 5 minutes away by car. The Naturist village is also nearby at about 3 kilometers. On the port and in the city center, located less than 10 minutes away on foot, you will enjoy strolling there and sitting down on the terrace of a café or restaurant. Near our establishment is the International Tennis Center and its new infrastructure, and one kilometer away you will reach the Cap d'Agde golf course. Off Cap d'Agde, 2 kilometers away, in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea, discover Fort Brescou, built in 1586 on a volcanic islet, an essential stopover during your stay at our establishment.

Walk around the city center and the port of Agde, to discover its charming monuments, steeped in history. We particularly recommend that you visit the Saint-Etienne d'Agde cathedral. This monument was built from 872.

Palais des Congrès and Casino Barrière of Cap D'Agde

Inaugurated in 2019, they are part of a building complex with remarkable architecture emblematic of the new entrance to Cap d'Agde. Via the magnificent footbridge built for this occasion, our Hélios hotel is less than 5 minutes away on foot.

The Cap d'Agde Palais des Congrès (Convention Center) offers exhibitions, shows (concerts, theater plays, ballets, etc.) and a full range of room rentals all year round.

Cap d'Agde is home to the Musée de l'Éphèbe and underwater archaeology. It is a journey through time and under the sea that awaits you during your visit to this museum located a few steps from the port. To complete your knowledge of the Cité Agathoise, go to the Musée Agathois Jules Baudou in the historic center of the city. The museum invites you to discover the daily life of the river-maritime city of Agde in modern times, its land and its traditions. For relaxing afternoons, you will find the Traveling cinema and its 11 screens in the center of Agde.

A few kilometers from our hotel near the city center and the port of Cap d´Agde, discover the city of Pézenas. Stroll through the cobbled streets, discovering this lovely town that inspired Bobby Lapointe and Molière. You will enjoy discovering the craftsmen's stalls, the flea markets which bring together hundreds of exhibitors, the historical monuments and the sunny terraces of the restaurants.

And the Canal du Midi Beziers

The city of Béziers is known for the locks of Fonseranes. This set of eight locks is one of the many technical feats of the Canal du Midi. Béziers is an excellent starting point for exploring the Canal du Midi, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. During your visit to Béziers, we also advise you to discover the Saint-Nazaire Cathedral, the arenas and the city center.

The Venice of Languedoc Sète

Sète is known to be home to the largest French fishing port in the Mediterranean Sea. It is also famous for its fine sandy beaches, its proximity to the Thau lagoon and Mont Saint-Clair. Climb to the top of Mont Saint-Clair and get one of the most beautiful views of the city of Sète and the Mediterranean Sea. Walk through the town center and the typical fishing port to discover all the beauties of Sète.

Prefecture of Hérault Montpellier

A few kilometers from our hotel near the port and the city center of Cap d'Agde, discover the city of Montpellier. We advise you to go to the Place de la Comédie to discover the effervescence of the city. Stroll through L'Écusson, the historic center of Montpellier to learn more about the city's history. Watch the sunset on the Promenade du Peyrou. Treat yourself to a moment of calm at the Jardin des Plantes.

Protected and unique natural area Pond of Thau

The Thau lagoon is the largest pond in Occitanie: it is a real small inland sea that is home to exceptional biological diversity (birds, sea bream, seahorses, etc.). It is also the Mediterranean capital of oyster farming. You will find a multitude of universes there: oysters from Bouzigues, delicious wines, small fishing ports, nautical leisure activities, built heritage...
