-In the city of Carcassonne, you're free to visit and have dinner. Suggestions: visit of the Comtal castle, ride round the outer wall in the little train or a carriage, the Basilique St Nazaire…

-At the end of the afternoon, a stop to discover the amazing site of the nine locks at Fonséranne (near Béziers) on the "Canal du Midi". A real water stairway that enables boats to go up or down 25m over a distance of 300m.This major work on the "Canal du Midi" was built in the XVIIth century.
